This Zuhair Murad Haute Couture collection – Indian Summer, was considered a risky choice. Murad’s intention would be “an homage and respect to the people who left us a very beautiful heritage of art, craftsmanship, and design”, as he said on backstage. However, and thinking about the days we are living – where every step is watched, scrutinized and squeezed – the good, the bad; the acceptable, the provocative – it’s hard for Murad don’t putting himself on the red line of hard reviews. Will his coordinates be seen in the next red carpets? Murad is confident, and so am I! For me this was just another perfect presentation from Zuhair Murad. I’m a huge fan!

Esta coleção Haute Couture de Zuhair Murad, intitulada Indian Summer, foi considerada  uma escolha arriscada. A intenção de Murad seria de “é uma espécie de homenagem e respeito às pessoas que nos deixaram uma herança muito bela de arte, artesanato e design”, como referenciou no backstage do desfile. Contudo, e tendo em conta os momentos que vivemos hoje, em que cada passo é calculado, escrutinado e espremido até mais não, onde tudo é visto com dupla face – bom, mau; aceitável, provocativo – é dificil Murad não se colocar ‘a jeito’ para um mar de criticas. Serão os seus coordenados vistos nas red carpets que se avizinham? O criador está confiante, eu eu confio no criador. Para mim foi mais uma belíssima apresentação. Muito fã de Zuhair Murad! Muito, mesmo!
